It is hard to believe that I am writing to you today, with the arrangements for the final few weeks for our class of 2025. Our Year 11 students will commence their external exams on Tuesday 6th May 2025. Students have received an individual exam timetable and the full timetable in available on the website.
Moorside High School is hoping to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day on Thursday 8th May by compiling a digital ‘wall of honour’ on our screens relating to WWII. We would like as many students and their families to contribute to this project as possible…
Following feedback from previous events, it was highlighted that it is often inconvenient for parents/carers to come into school early in the evening for events that sometimes can only last 40-45minutes. We have therefore decided to trial an electronic presentation for Year 10 Parents/Carers on how you can best support your child in the run up to the Year 10 End of Year Exams. This was initially planned to be an in-person event, so we hope that this alternative way supports the feedback we have received.
