Year 10 Macbeth Performance
Published 23/05/25We are excited to offer the opportunity for pupils in year 10 to attend a live open-air performance of Shakespeare’s Macbeth performed by the Duke’s Theatre Company in Rivington during the evening of Wednesday 18th June 2025. By attending the performance, pupils will gain a rare and valuable insight into the plot, character and stagecraft of one of their GCSE set texts.

Over the past two terms, students have engaged with a rich and varied English curriculum, studying Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, The Odyssey, and a selection of Identity Poetry. Y10 Help Your Child to Revise
Published 06/05/25Following feedback from previous events, it was highlighted that it is often inconvenient for parents/carers to come into school early in the evening for events that sometimes can only last 40-45minutes. We have therefore decided to trial an electronic presentation for Year 10 Parents/Carers on how they can best support their child in the run up to the Year 10 End of Year Exams.
