Please find below, details of all the intervention sessions that will be running over the Easter break in preparation for this year’s GCSE examinations. Attendance at these sessions is strongly encouraged, as they are designed to support students in maximising their performance.
As we move further into this important stage of Year 10, I am writing to highlight the importance of excellent attendance and punctuality. The work students are covering in lessons now forms the foundation of their GCSE courses. This learning will be directly assessed not only in the Year 10 end‑of‑year exams, but also in their final GCSE examinations in the summer of 2027. It is therefore vital that students do not miss any valuable learning time.
As we approach the GCSE exam season, I am writing to emphasise the importance of attendance over the coming weeks. There are now only 23 school days remaining before the first exam, and every single day will make a meaningful difference to your child’s preparation, progress, and confidence.
As we come to the end of the Spring Term and the final lead up to GCSE examinations, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work and dedication the students have shown throughout their time in Year 11.
As part of our ongoing careers programme, we are planning a trip for all Year 10 students to visit Salford City College to begin researching possible options at college. The date for the event is Wednesday 1st July 2026.
