GCSE in Business and Enterprise Newsletter
Published 16/11/23As part of GCSE in Business and Enterprise, students will complete several components across the two years.
The first formal assessment for Component 1 will take place in February 2024. For this component, students will be supervised to complete a non-examined assessment. They will be asked to write about a micro, small or medium enterprise, this would typically be a business with a maximum of 249 employees. The students can choose the business they wish to research, they will need to find out information about the enterprise and the entrepreneur who runs the business. The aim is to find out what they do, to make their business successful.

Rome Trip 2024
Published 31/10/23We are excited to announce that we are going to offer Classical Civilisation pupils in Year 10 and 11 the opportunity to go on a cultural and educational visit to Rome. Rome houses many of the prescribed sources studied on the course which provides a unique opportunity to bring the source to life.
