  • Our Parents

“I cannot thank Moorside enough for the way they have looked after both of my girls (year 7 and 10) during the pandemic. The home learning provision was excellent with daily form time and online lessons. Additionally, their teachers contacted me weekly during lockdown to check on my girls progress and welfare.”

“I cannot speak highly enough about the Head of Year 7 at Moorside Mr Williams. He has made every effort to make sure my daughter has settled into secondary school and has continued to check in with her throughout the school year. The transition from primary school has been smooth thanks to the staff and my daughter feels safe and happy at Moorside.”

“I have two children that attend Moorside High School in years 8 and 9. Throughout this last year, I have received many positive phone calls from both Heads of Year and teaching staff. This has really helped with their confidence coming back to school after lockdown. The online learning during lockdown was brilliant, knowing there were live lessons kept them in a good routine, motivated to learn and reassured them knowing there was a teacher at the other end of the laptop for support. My youngest child suffers with anxiety and the staff have recognised this and given her lots of support. A big thank you to all the staff at Moorside!”

    Our Students

"We learn lots of new things and new subjects and the teachers make it really fun"

"The students and staff are really nice, friendly, and helpful"

"I like the fact the school has lots of open spaces and different areas to learn in"
