We would also like to take this opportunity to update you on the present situation regarding the awarding of GCSE and Vocational qualification grades before Tuesday. While the Department for Education has announced that there will be no exams this summer they have not released any information about what will replace them. There is a general feeling that there will be some form of assessment rather than simply centre-assessed grading. However, until we have a formal announcement it is not useful to speculate further
